APEX EQUINE SPELLING PADDOCK LEASE AGREEMENT

Apex Equine provides rolling fortnightly spelling paddock leases at $100 per fortnight, payable via pre-paid online subscription. This includes water and basic paddock maintenance, while owners cover additional costs such as veterinary, farrier, and supplementary feed.

• Notice & Visits: A 2-week notice is required for cancellation. Owners are welcome to visit their horses with prior notice.

• Additional Fees: Extra charges may apply for regular holding or handling.

• Liability & Safety: Owners must ensure their horse is halter-trained and adequately insured. Apex Equine is not responsible for injuries, illness, or unexpected incidents.

APEX EQUINE SPELLING PADDOCK LEASE AGREEMENT

This Lease Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Lease Start Date], between the Landowner, Apex Equine, and the Lessee, [Lessee Name].

1. Duration:
The lease operates on a rolling fortnightly basis, renewed automatically via the pre-paid subscription unless terminated by either party with the required notice.

2. Rental Amount:
The fortnightly rental fee for a shared paddock is $100, payable via a pre-paid online subscription.

3. Lessee's Responsibilities:

All costs related to the spelled horse, including veterinary, farrier, and additional care, are the sole responsibility of the owner.
Owners must promptly notify Apex Equine of any required services or changes in the horse's condition.

A minimum of 2 weeks’ written notice is required for the cessation of spelling.

• Owners are welcome to visit their horses; however, prior notice is requested to ensure smooth operations.
• Additional fees may apply if regular holding or handling of the spelled horse is required by Apex Equine.
• In the event of a horse’s death, the owner is responsible for the prompt removal and burial of the animal. Burial on Apex Equine property is not permitted.
• Apex Equine will provide water and basic paddock maintenance; however, the owner is responsible for supplying any supplementary feed, rugs, or special requirements.
• Apex Equine will not be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, or unforeseen incidents while the horse is on the property. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their horse is adequately insured.
• All spelled horses must be halter-trained and safe to handle. Any horse displaying dangerous behaviour may result in immediate termination of the agreement.
• The owner agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date health and vaccination records prior to the horse’s arrival.

This agreement is binding upon both parties, and any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
